According to the notice 95% na yung nacoconsume ko here in my blog so I guess I really move to another blog... But before I leave this what happened these past weeks...

I went in for my final panel interview at INTEL Gateway and I did passed and a week ago they asked me to come in for the salary offer: Free house, free cellphone, free laptop, daily allowance and P9,500 salary. What? Sobrang baba naman nun eh mataas pa salary ko dyan ngayon eh! Isa pa yung bahay sa room there's a 99.9% chance na lalaki yung makakasama ko sa room itself kse as of now ako pa lang yung babaeh. So namomoroblema sila where they would put me. Lintek! Eh di sana MALE na lang yung requirements nila for applicants. Besides, sila naman yung nag-invite sa akin to apply eh. Di pala sila handa sa female staff... Sus sinayang lang nila yung oras ko. Aba'y 1.5 na lang ang leave ko until the end of this year noh!

Everyone is in relief nung hindi ko tinanggap yun offer. Hahaha!!! nakakatawa talaga yung office mates ko. Sigh!

So adtx didn't give me a call. I guess it's a sign that I am meant to stay with my current employer. Reassess ako ng plans -- hanggang december stay ako then file ng resignation effectivity January 15, 2007. Until...

May 11 at the Mercury Drug Store. I got a call from a certain Ms. Melai. May interview daw ako with PERCOM next Tuesday for SQL Programmer position to be assigned in INTEL Cavite. "Did she say Intel?" "Ok I'll be there." 3 days na kong absent sa work non dahil may sakit si tatay. Hinahighblood dahil sa sobrang init. But despite that I have to take my chances.

So I did my research about the company over the net. Everything went smoothly with the initial interview so I was asked to come back the next day for a technical interview. Di rin ako nabored kse yung kasabay kong candidate, si Grace, eh highschool classmate ng ex-officemate ko, si Erin and yung father nya recently passed away and guess what due to a kidney disease din like my mom. But wait waaaahhhh!!! Aabsent na naman ako? Bahala na nga! Since ang tatay ko naman kahit di pa 100% recovered eh panay ang sabi na try ko lang...

Technical interview went well, nakakasagot naman ako regarding concepts sa Microsoft SQL Server 2000 pero after the interview may pinakuhang exam about Windows, Word, Powerpoint, Excel. 20 Questions each at mukhang doon pa ko babagsak. Hahahaha!!! Kse yung mga tanong sa sobrang dali, nakakabobo na mapapaisip ka tuloy kung tama yung sagot mo. Yung tipong paano mo ioopen yung file sa my documents. Click mo ba, right click, use shortcut keys. Alam mo yun yung parang pagkaharap mo yung computer di mo na yun pinag-iisipan alam mo na lang gawin without you having to memorize it. Instinct na lang or a natural reaction ba. Hehehe... natatawa talaga ako sa mga sagot ko kse nung chineck parang mali so don pa ata ako sasabit.

When I got back sa work ayun katakot-takot na kantyaw ang abot ko na kesyo tanggap na ako. Di na lang ako kumibo NOT FEELING WELL kse ang reason ko at nagpakawala na lang ako ng malulupit na mga ubo na puede silang mahawa. And as of now, may nahawa na sa akin. Hehehehe!!!

Wait daw ako until this week for final interview...

I opened my email again, excited ba kung may magreply??? Hehehe... In my inbox folder I have 1 invitation to Zorpia and info that a friend updated her blog in friendster. I switched to bulk folder and whoooaahh!!! SUBJECT: RE: Professional with 2 Yrs Experience for Programmer. I open it quickly and that was it. I am being asked to confirm my presence for the 1 pm qualifying exam in ADTX Makati.

I confirmed. Then I got nervous... after 2 yrs and 4 months with my current employer this is my first attempt to break away from my loyalty. Hehehe... I was damn nervous kse after a while ngayon lang ulit ko nilalagay yung sarili ko out in the market and I am not very good with rejections kse, honestly. But I am still torn of leaving but I said to myself if its time for a change then this would be it. Since I've been eyeing this company for quite sometime now. ADTX or J-Sys.

But wait I had nothing to wear!!! Kse naman puro uniform, pambahay at during sunday rugged ang suot ko. I had to buy pa at SM Bacoor. I bought a maroon 3/4 blouse and a black slacks, and some accessories. Problema pa tong hair ko since alanganin ang length eh panay ng ang tikwas. Uuurrgggh! So much for First impression. More than 1K din ang naspend ko na inutang ko pa sa tatay ko. My dad was very supportive about it. He's the first one trying to lessen my panic.

Pero sa tingin ko its more of excitement for me than a panic...

I'm already waiting for the bus. Ang aga noh! Buti na yon kse di ko na kabisado ang byahe to manila since sobrang tagal ko ng di nagcocommute. Pagsakay ng bus: patay TAYUAN! It was a bit too later para bumaba pa so I positioned myself sa aisle na wag akong matumba, hoping na pagdating ng bacoor may bumababa. Mga 5 mins pa lang akong nakatayo when a guy offered his sit to me, baba na kse sya. Ayus! I'll take it as a sign that this would be my lucky day.

I was already in Ayala Avenue and since its almost lunch time and maaga pa naman kumain muna ko sa mcdo. Try ko kaya yung chicken fillet 35.00 pesos lang oh. Nyek! ang liit naman nito?! Bat sa picture 2 pcs bat eto isa lang. Anyways kumain na rin ako.

Sa reception ng ADTX, "The exam would be 1 o'clock (you're too early)." Then I was ask by another employee, "Did you have your lunch?" Ang babait naman ng mga tao dito... Puro casual lang suot nila and I feel overdress tuloy but later I found out Friday nga pala kaya nakacivilian. Sa amin kse hanggang saturday Uniform. 2 lang kaming nagexam... Madali lang naman: IQ, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge sa IT, Some logic and creation of a program puro time pressured. And then another module was given: Firmware and Microcode exam. Ano to??? Di ko talaga alam to std_Bit(), 000000xF8H mga ganon anak ng pating di ko talaga alam.

The exam ended ng 5 pm. Culminating with an essay... Sa alabang daw iaassess and tatawag na lang.

If not for the firmware part siguro may chance pa akong pumasa pero kung talagang kasama yun hindi ko na alam hinulaan ko lang kse yun eh...

"Hon, paano kung di ako pumasa" I asked Jase. "Well it's only one of the 1,777,054 jobs you can apply for." Hahaha!!! Ewan ko kung base on statistics yon pero naniwala ako sa kanya...

The first quarter of year 2006 is officially over and when I checked my new year's resolution... I've been doing nothing to accomplish my 11-point list. Uurghh!!! To think that 2 of those resolution was supposed to be accomplished by January and February. And what did I do for the passed three months? ONLY NOTHING but to stray away from my list. "You Go Girl!" Sigh...

Why I am like this right now? I have no focus at anything. I am still bothered that I dont have the drive to get fit this year unlike last year. I am frankly disappointed that I have to backslide. And as much as I talk myself into getting back in track -- nothing happens. I am very frustrated!

Yesterday I went about my morning rituals. After taking my breakfast, nagbihis na ko ng uniform. Pero humiga ako ulit trying to position myself para di gaanong magusot ang uniform ko and waited for my sundo, si papa Jase. Then I started to feel a pain in my lower back -- "Naku, ngayon na yata ako sinisingil ng pagsuswimming ko last Saturday night". Dumating na ang sundo ko at hindi na talaga ako makabangon. So I ended up not going to work yesterday which was a lot of fun... hehehe. Nanuod ako ng cartoons then 3 movies while lying in bed. I also took advantage of the time to think about my plans of staying with my current employer. I have no qualms in terms of work per se but financially I can not expect to receive due compensation since I am working in the province. I really have to take a risk. As of yesterday I have decided I'll just stay until June na lang. Until I finish most of my projects. Nag-iipon na rin ako ng guts para nga maexecute tong plano ko. It's hard to leave your comfort zone but I'll be turning 25 in a few months. If you ask me 5 years ago where I see myself now -- this would not be it!!!

Have you ever been into trouble because of your friendster account? Well I've been too a lot of arguments with my guy regarding request from people whom he doesnt know -- ex-coworkers and old classmates. He's really a jealous type.

Anyways, a few weeks back I was tinkering with his account and he was exchanging messages with his buddy from the board exam review, Adam. And to my surprise he remark something like "Tol crush ko pa din si ate Jack". Well, well, well... That's really something huh! Jase is not your typical guy who swoon over other girls. Even if you point out really pretty girls to him he would shrug his shoulders and grunt. So for him to use the word "CRUSH" that means something...

I reasoned with myself -- "Sassy, that's not a big deal!" Is it really? should I confront him about it? I tried calming down but I was shaking. Okay you can say I'm over reacting. I know! It's the first time that I learned that my boyfriend of 8 years has a crush on somebody other than stars you see on TV!!!

Then a few minutes later, I heard his bike parked on our driveway. He came in and gave me a peck on the cheeks. Hoping he could score some. (Sorry Jolo this is totally PG!) He immediately felt the cold shoulders so I confronted him about it. I can see he was having a blast seeing me all worked up because of my jealousy. Coz I rarely gets jealous. He explained himself telling me it was a joke. He said the rest of their board exam review group tells the same thing. Yeah right! Of course I didn't totally buy it but who cares as long as he doesn't act upon his feelings its alright for him to have crushes.

Since I last blogged I....

1. Bought a refurbished PC - Pentium III 750 mhz. Not bad for home usage.

2. Two weeks later, bought CANON PIXMA iP1200 Bubble Jet printer. I love printing pictures!

3. Met up with my best bud, Aisha, and she convince me that it's time for a change --- RESIGN!

4. Planned to go to swimming but it got cancelled -- twice!

5. Worked overnight at the shop - no sleep - just to be able to deliver 9 teams to be used in a league.

6. Got a new hairdo to get rid of my nasty split ends!

7. Finally went to swimming with Jase at Josephine Watercamp.

8. Celebrated our 100th monthsary last April 6. Centennial ito ang lupet!

Sa sobrang tagal di ko na matandaan yung iba. Showi!!!

Nagkita kami ni April, my batchmate in high school, kanina umaga sa shop kasama nya yung husband nya naorder ng jersey.

Last night, sa may tindahan ng may-ari ng bahay namin I ask a familiar face kung sa Aguinaldo Elem School sya pumasok. In turned out na classmate ko pala sya nung kinder and grade one (and he still has our class picture to prove it) pero repeater sya ng grade one so nauna akong gumaraduate sa kanya. Sya pala yung asawa ng anak ng inuupahan namin.

Sino naman kayang makakabunggo ko this week...

Sobrang init today as in! I guess summer is just around the corner. Special non working holiday yesterday for the 20th EDSA Celebration so 2 days akong walang pasok -- well sa office yun. And usual julalay na naman ako ni padir sa shop. I had to help him out in ironing the ordered uniforms ng isang company wala kse kaming official plantsadora. I did my best pero konti lang talaga ang naplantsa and despite that eh eto pagkagising ko kaninang umaga eh namamaga na yung braso and hindi talaga ako makatulog kagabi dahil masakit ang siko. Sigh! Anak mayaman talaga ang drama ko di puedeng mabibigat na household work. Hehehe...

Bad news. Last year during may hiatus I went to a diet medyo ok naman pumayat but after just 2 months eh 10 lbs na agad yung dinagdag ko eh halos 4 months kong nilose yun last year. Grabeh talaga kaya eto balik to my old figure.

Kagagaling lang ulit namin kina Tita Nory this afternoon. Last weekend nya na here and on Tuesday she'll be back sa Japan. She supported me with me plans on taking up an exam in Information Technology to be accredited by Japanese companies. So I really have to start reviewing na.
